Victorian Home Turned Mid-Century Modern

Tucked away in a cozy suburban Toronto neighbourhood resides this newly renovated home.
What was once a Victorian-style home is now a sleek, updated home constructed with douglas fir windows and doors, high-efficiency appliances and a 500 square-foot addition.

We provided this compact, electric kitchen with a 1″ thick, hand-poured smooth concrete countertop. Concrete countertops are easy to care for by using mild soap and water for regular cleaning and staying clear of abrasive cleaners or solvents. Concrete is a beautiful, porous, natural material that will patina over time, giving it that slightly weathered look.
